This semester we learned how to use certain skills for an example we learned how to use y=mx+b and a few other things about trigonometry. We also did P.O.W's it means, Problem of the Week. I wanted to share a few of my P.O.W's, one of them I didn't realize I missed a step the other is one I did correctly. For my first P.O.W I'm showing you this is the one where I missed a step.
P.O.W #4- Free Thinking Football
5 and 3 were the numbers that I started out with and the highest number was 13.
In this second one I choose two random numbers which were 3 and 6. I didn’t realize that these two numbers were multiples of each other. It made things pretty easy. I started listing off numbers by one
1, 2, 3,4, 5, 6, 7, 8,9, 10, 11,12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17,18,19, 20,21, 22, 23,24,25. After listing these numbers out I found a pattern, every two numbers there’s a multiple of 3 and 6. The highest number could go on forever but I decided to stop at 24. The ‘impossible’ numbers are the ones that aren’t a multiples of 3 and 6, like 4 and 5.
